DOTD are playing November 1st at the Rosemount Hotel in North Perth and then again on the 2nd at the Norfolk Basement in Fremantle. Come along and support great local musicians! The Dead will be mixed by Mark Bromfield.

Back from the desert! State's Mark Bromfield made the trek out to Hyden for the Wave Rock Weekender over the long weekend, with the boys from Bobby Blackbird and the Bluejays, and Dan the Man from Cardboard City.

 State Pro Audio supplemented the monitor rig with Nexo, and provided an Allen and Heath FOH mixing console. FOH was an RCF 6001A system which pumped the whole weekend.

 Anyone who has not been to Hyden and Wave Rock should really check it out - the rock is cool, but it is no match for the floating pool, with six times the salt content of sea water (a very weird experience!).  Charter a plane from Kookaburra Air at Jandakot and make a day of it, or even stay a little longer.
