Bobby Blackbird and the Bluejays launch their long awaited EP tonight at Luna Cinemas in Leederville on a State Pro Audio Nexo sound system. Their manager, and owner of Cardboard City Records, Dan "the Man" Moore, specifically requested a Nexo rig. Dan wanted the mix to sound like a studio recording through a set of studio monitors, and Nexo was the obvious choice.

Wattage is a horrid way to compare PA systems - but sometimes it is a nice ego boost. Rack 19, as it has been dubbed, is 5x Camco 38.4 amps, which produces thunderous amounts of power! Thats 19,000 Watt @ 4 ohm in only 47 kilos of amp!  Rack 19 with 2 Nexo TD15mkII To put it into perspective, 5x 5002s in a rack weighs over 176kg, and still only produces 17,750W @ 4 ohm! |
